Kevin Needham… a charismatic leader who had established a reputable name not only within the industry but also with his colleagues and clients. Yesterday the team gathered to celebrate his retirement and reflect on his accomplishments and impact he had on the many staff who had worked under his guidance.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (QS), Kev started his career as a cadet in a contractor’s office in 1980. He still clearly remembers preparing his first Bill of Quantities in 1982 whilst working at Cameron and Middleton, a 6 duplex nursing home development at Redcliffe. He quickly become a well-respected and sought after Quantity Surveyor, joining the Department of Public Works in the later years, leading a team on education and emergency services projects throughout Queensland. Since joining the GRC team in 2015, Kevin has led numerous Government and Asset Management Services projects but he has always found the time to mentor and coach staff who were fortunate to work and learn from his experience.
We wish you all the best in your retirement Kev!
