Aura is a master planned community located on the Sunshine Coast across 2,310 hectares and currently the largest residential project in Australia. As well as approximately 20,000 dwellings for around 50,000 people, Aura provides mixed-use activity centres for the community and offers convenient access to retail, services, well-designed civic spaces, community and cultural facilities.

GRC has been involved in numerous developments within the Aura precinct. A number of these developments include the Birtinya Town Centre, Baringa Shopping Centre, Birtinya Night Quarter, Large Format Retail and Stage 1 of the Town Centre Shopping Precinct and numerous medium density residential projects.
