The Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade involves widening 7km of road from four to six lanes with considerable marine work along the Brisbane River.

Expected to be complete in 2019, the upgrade will increase road capacity to accommodate future traffic volume and deliver significantly improved pedestrian and cycle facilities for both existing residents and the developing Northshore precinct. GRC has been working with Lendlease to deliver detailed measurement, design cost management and cost planning services on the project.
