Moreton Bay Rail Link
First proposed more than a century ago, Moreton Bay Rail Link is a landmark project that transformed one of Australia’s fastest growing areas by providing a fully integrated transport solution that connects rail, roads and infrastructure.
The $650 million Petrie to Kippa-Ring greenfield project included a 12.6 kilometer dual-track passenger line, six new rail stations and stabling yard at Kippa-Ring. Working with Theiss, GRC delivered measurement and cost estimation services to quantify the scope of works, set realistic budgets and adopt cost-effective and innovative design alternatives. The scope of work included ground treatment and bulk earthworks, signals, structural and civil, track work, drainage, station buildings, noise walls, roadworks, communications backbone and soft landscaping.
