Wharf Road is a $200 million cutting-edge residential tower on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise. The building’s slender design and distinct exoskeleton facade is the result of the latest parametric design tools, modelling technology and wind engineering – one of the first times this has been applied to a residential building globally. The tower structure is an adapted diagrid exoskeleton, able to deal with dynamic wind and structure loads with a design uniquely crafted to its environment. 

Award-winning Architects Rothelowman designed Wharf Road from the idea of ‘a beach house in the sky’; a place to enjoy the unique coast environment. The multi-residential tower boasts private beach house residences, communal recreation spaces and one per plate ultra-luxury sky-homes.

GRC has been working with developers Golden Gate Property to deliver cost management services for the development application.
