The Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal (WICET) provides additional export capacity at the Port of Gladstone to service new mines and expansion of existing mines in the Surat and southern Bowen Basins.

WICET allocated the project works to different package contractors. After the packages were awarded, GRC was appointed by Abigroup. We remeasured the civil works and included the remeasured quantities into an expert report which successfully maximised revenue for Abigroup. Our ability to understand Abigroup’s requirements, interpret the contractual requirements, accurately measure the varying scope of works and resource the project with the correct personnel contributed significantly to the successful outcome.
